Years of modeling. Then a waistline I didn’t recognize.
After years in front of the camera, I knew my body. Then menopause arrived, and I started noticing something unfamiliar: love handles.
It wasn’t just about how my clothes looked. It was the feeling of looking at my body and asking, “What happened?”
If you have had that moment, this story is for you. Not a promise to turn back the clock. Not another reason to criticize yourself. A conversation about finding your footing when your body feels different.
The change nobody prepares you for
We hear the word menopause. We don’t always hear enough about how personal the experience can feel.
Maybe your concern is your waistline. Maybe it is restless nights, changing hair, or skin that no longer feels familiar. Whatever you notice, you deserve support, not shame.
My own experience brought my attention to my body in a new way. Even after years of modeling, I wasn’t prepared for how those love handles would make me feel.
Changes around midlife deserve a real conversation with a qualified healthcare professional. Don’t assume every change is menopause, and don’t let an advertisement diagnose you.
Where green tea fits into my story
I drink green tea, and I have also used a green tea supplement. In my experience, I felt that it helped me.
That is my personal experience, not proof of what caused any change or a promise of the same result for someone else. I am not presenting green tea as a detox, a hormone-balancing treatment, or a guaranteed way to lose weight.
A cup of tea and a concentrated supplement are not interchangeable. Before trying a supplement, review its ingredients with your healthcare professional, especially if you take medication or have a health condition. This article does not recommend a supplement brand or dose.
You don’t need another impossible promise
You need room to ask honest questions. What am I noticing? When did it begin? What do I want to discuss with my healthcare professional?
Start with what is real for you. Keep a simple record of the changes that concern you. Bring those observations to your appointment rather than guessing at the cause or chasing a dramatic before-and-after claim.
Your body is not a failed project. And your confidence does not have to depend on returning to a previous size.
Make the next chapter yours
